Our Fallen Warwickshire Colleagues

As Firefighters close the door to travel to station, they may give a distant thought to the fact that they may never return to their home or family.

In Warwickshire the tragic reality was an incident which led to the deaths of four of our colleagues.

As professionals we are aware of the inherent risks within our role and strive to maintain as safe a working environment as possible, but certain matters are beyond our control.

Our campaign to keep Windsor a 24 hour station is all about safety: As well as protecting the public in east Berkshire, we want to protect the safety of our colleagues who may be dangerously overstretched.
